Quorum Drive
I am excited to be working with the Town of Addison, Texas on the Quorum Drive Revitalization Project. This project is an opportunity to build on a great legacy of creating places for people, with Addison Circle, a New Urbanist case study that has set the precedent for high-quality development and public space that has followed. Within a half mile of our study area there are parks, open spaces, restaurants, hotels, public art, places to work, and urban residential living – yet Quorum Drive is very car-centric and lacks a mix of uses, being largely an office district. This project will be an opportunity to demonstrate Placemaking and outdoor workplace design, to retrofit an office-park style development to a more active, vibrant, and walkable place that supports Addison’s downtown community. Our team is now poised to lead a collaborative process to discover how to transform Quorum Drive into a thriving district in the heart of Addison. For this project, I am working under Teague Nall and Perkins (TNP) as lead consultant, with TGB Landscape Architects.
